About Cherezade

Hi, my name is Cherezade. I’m an integrative trauma therapist, mother, and a woman who deeply understands what it means to rebuild safety, trust, connection, and life again after trauma.

My work centers around helping women emerge from chronic survival states back into embodied life. Through somatic trauma therapy, nervous system restoration, attachment healing, parts work, and womb-centered care, I support women in reconnecting to themselves, their bodies, relationships, emotions, and capacity to feel fully alive again.

Over the last 9 years, I’ve worked closely with women navigating sexual/womb trauma, relational trauma, chronic freeze responses, nervous system dysregulation, body disconnection, attachment wounds, and the complex ways trauma can shape a woman’s relationship to herself and the world around her.

At the core of my work is the belief that women heal through connection— safe connection to the body, to others, to God, and to life itself. Trauma often disrupts that connection and pulls women into chronic states of survival, where the body remains braced, hypervigilant, shut down, over-functioning, disconnected, or unable to fully soften and rest.

I don’t believe healing happens through forcing, fixing, or pathologizing women for the ways they learned to survive. I believe healing happens through safety, relationship, compassion, nervous system repair, emotional honesty, and slowly rebuilding trust within the body over time.

My approach to the therapeutic relationship is deeply relational and non-hierarchical. While I bring clinical training and therapeutic structure into this work, I also value authenticity, humanity, presence, and the wisdom that can emerge through shared lived experience. I want women to feel seen here, not judged. Held, but never controlled. Supported in fully showing up as they are while we gently navigate the healing process together.

My own healing journey has profoundly shaped the way I hold this work. Through trauma, recovery, motherhood, loss, nervous system healing, and deep personal transformation, I’ve learned that healing is rarely linear and no single framework fully captures the complexity of what trauma does to the mind, body, relationships, hormones, identity, and spirit. Healing often requires an integrative and deeply compassionate approach that honors the whole person.

Faith and my relationship with God have also become an important part of my own healing and restoration, deeply reshaping the way I understand safety, surrender, compassion, and transformation within the healing process.

Much of my work also centers around helping women reconnect to the body after long periods of self-abandonment, shutdown, hypervigilance, or chronic survival. I believe many women are not only longing to heal but longing to feel free — free from constant bracing, anxiety, control, mistrust, emotional exhaustion, and survival. Free to exhale. Free to soften. Free to feel present, connected, alive, and fully within themselves again.

Whether you are navigating trauma, disconnection, chronic overwhelm, relational wounds, or simply longing to feel more present, alive, and connected within yourself again — you are welcome here.
