Helping women emerge from survival into embodied life

Integrative trauma therapy for women seeking to feel rooted within, softened in their bodies, and deeply connected to themselves, love, and life again.

You may be here because…

Somewhere along the way, you learned it wasn’t safe to fully be in your body.

Maybe you’ve spent years living in survival mode, over-functioning, emotionally shut down, hyper-independent, anxious, disconnected, or carrying the weight of experiences your body never truly got to process.

Perhaps intimacy feels complicated. Rest feels unfamiliar. Trust feels difficult. You want connection, but your nervous system doesn’t always know how to receive it safely.

Many women come to this work feeling deeply exhausted from holding everything alone while quietly grieving how far they’ve become from themselves.

This work is about gently rebuilding safety, connection, trust, and embodiment by creating enough safety for your body to finally stop surviving.

My Approach

Healing Through Safety, Embodiment & Connection

Many women know how to survive but no longer feel fully connected to themselves. Trauma can shape the nervous system, relationships, hormones, sense of self, capacity for intimacy, and the ability to feel safe and present within the body. Over time, many women find themselves living in chronic states of survival—disconnected from their emotions, desires, voice, vitality, and trust within themselves.

My work centers around helping women emerge from chronic survival states back into embodied life. Through somatic trauma therapy, parts work, attachment healing, nervous system restoration, and womb-centered care, I support women in rebuilding safety, emotional capacity, embodiment, and authentic connection within themselves and their relationships.

I specialize in the feminine nervous system and the unique ways trauma, chronic stress, hormones, relational wounds, and survival responses impact women physically, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. Much of this work involves helping women reconnect to their bodies after experiences of trauma, dissociation, shutdown, hypervigilance, chronic freeze, or relational pain.

Together, we work to gently expand the body’s capacity for safety, emotional presence, intimacy, self-trust, vitality, desire, pleasure, secure attachment, and reclaiming one’s voice after long periods of self-abandonment or survival.

Womb-centered healing is an important part of my work because many women are profoundly disconnected from this area of the body, often only relating to it through menstruation, hormones, reproduction, sexuality, or medical issues. Yet the womb is deeply connected to a woman’s nervous system, emotional world, relational patterns, and sense of embodiment.

The cervix is directly connected to the vagus nerve, which plays a vital role in nervous system regulation, safety, emotional processing, and the body’s stress responses. Trauma, chronic stress, relational wounds, sexual trauma, and survival states can deeply impact a woman’s relationship to her body, hormones, emotions, sexuality, intuition, and ability to feel fully present within herself.

I believe feminine trauma healing cannot fully separate the nervous system from the body, or the body from the womb. Much of this work involves helping women reconnect to themselves physically, emotionally, hormonally, relationally, and spiritually after long periods of survival, shutdown, hypervigilance, self-abandonment, or disconnection.

As women begin restoring safety throughout the nervous system and reconnecting to the body, many experience a deeper sense of groundedness, embodiment, emotional regulation, intuition, self-trust, vitality, and connection to their inner truth.

For women who desire it, faith and relationship with God may also become part of the healing process through prayer, spiritual support, and soul-centered care. Others come from different beliefs or experiences, including religious trauma. My role is not to impose a framework, but to create a grounded and compassionate space where healing and reconnection can unfold safely and authentically.

Meet Cherezade

Hi, my name is Cherezade. I’m an integrative trauma therapist, mother, and a woman who deeply understands what it means to rebuild safety, trust, connection, and life again after trauma.

My work centers around helping women emerge from chronic survival states back into embodied life. Through somatic trauma therapy, nervous system restoration, attachment healing, parts work, and womb-centered care, I support women in reconnecting to themselves, their bodies, relationships, emotions, and capacity to feel fully alive again.

Over the last 9 years, I’ve worked closely with women navigating sexual/womb trauma, relational trauma, chronic freeze responses, nervous system dysregulation, body disconnection, attachment wounds, and the complex ways trauma can shape a woman’s relationship to herself and the world around her.

At the core of my work is the belief that women heal through connection— safe connection to the body, to others, to God, and to life itself. Trauma often disrupts that connection and pulls women into chronic states of survival, where the body remains braced, hypervigilant, shut down, over-functioning, disconnected, or unable to fully soften and rest.

I don’t believe healing happens through forcing, fixing, or pathologizing women for the ways they learned to survive. I believe healing happens through safety, relationship, compassion, nervous system repair, emotional honesty, and slowly rebuilding trust within the body over time.

My approach to the therapeutic relationship is deeply relational and non-hierarchical. While I bring clinical training and therapeutic structure into this work, I also value authenticity, humanity, presence, and the wisdom that can emerge through shared lived experience. I want women to feel seen here, not judged. Held, but never controlled. Supported in fully showing up as they are while we gently navigate the healing process together.

My own healing journey has profoundly shaped the way I hold this work. Through trauma, recovery, motherhood, loss, nervous system healing, and deep personal transformation, I’ve learned that healing is rarely linear and no single framework fully captures the complexity of what trauma does to the mind, body, relationships, hormones, identity, and spirit. Healing often requires an integrative and deeply compassionate approach that honors the whole person.

Faith and my relationship with God have also become an important part of my own healing and restoration, deeply reshaping the way I understand safety, surrender, compassion, and transformation within the healing process.

Much of my work also centers around helping women reconnect to the body after long periods of self-abandonment, shutdown, hypervigilance, or chronic survival. I believe many women are not only longing to heal but longing to feel free — free from constant bracing, anxiety, control, mistrust, emotional exhaustion, and survival. Free to exhale. Free to soften. Free to feel present, connected, alive, and fully within themselves again.

Whether you are navigating trauma, disconnection, chronic overwhelm, relational wounds, or simply longing to feel more present, alive, and connected within yourself again — you are welcome here.

Education, Training & Approach

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University and have spent the last 9 years deeply immersed in the study and practice of trauma healing, somatic therapy, nervous system restoration, attachment healing, feminine physiology, and womb centered care.

My background includes training in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy through The Embody Lab, Breathwork Facilitation through Sacred Breath Academy, and Womb Centered Healing through Fountain of Life. I’ve also extensively studied parts work, attachment theory, poly vagal theory, and the relationship between trauma, the nervous system, hormones, and the feminine body.

My approach integrates evidence based trauma therapy with somatic, relational, attachment based, and body centered approaches that support deep healing, emotional regulation, embodiment, and restoration for women navigating the impacts of trauma and chronic survival states.
